A beginers Guide to PowerPoint :)

So it's pretty obvious now that everyone knows how to make a PowerPoint & how to use it .. but do they really know what each tab means? well today in class we learned what each single icon on the panels meant.
The first panel we spoke about was the standard panel:
- new, save, permission, spell check, copy + paste, chart,
show formatting and many other choices.
The second panel we discussed contained :
- edit text, size of the text, paragraph alignment,
bullets, and new slides + more.
The third panel we discussed was the drawing panel and it contained :
- auto shapes, lines, arrows, squares, circles, text box, word art,
clip art and more fun features.
The last thing we learned about panels is you can create your OWN! we go to school using PowerPoint, for most assignments but this was the FIRST time i had ever heard this.
to create your own what you do is you > right click on one of the panels already > click on customize > after that click on toolbar > new > and voila chose your icons & you're ready to go.
many programs have menus, the menu bar for PowerPoint is the bar that says file > edit & so on.
In word art we learned how to change it so it doesn't look like the word art we've already seen .. word art gets old after seeing the same thing after a while, but Today we learned how to make our slides like professional ones, after creating it you can add it to all the rest by simply copying it and pasting.

  • other stuff we learned were:
  • theirs 3 tabs at the bottom and they stand for organize your slides, normal view, view PowerPoint :)
  • not to print your power point cause they waste paper :) that's all for now !
  • - sαααnjidα.
